Local Cemeteries



As generations of families have come and gone the graves of people of all ages have sometimes been forgotten. The Backbone Ridge History Group and the Finger Lakes National Forest have teamed up to carefully clear and restore some of these cemeteries. During both Spring and Fall of each year volunteers donate two or three days of their private time to make repairs and record information from the stones. Photos of the work and listings of burials are contained on this page and on the pictures page.
